President's Message (March 2026)
AI Infrastructure and Energy AccessDear PELS Friends: As we start the new year at the Power Electronics Society, we may reflect on 2025 and look towards an exciting 2026. We will be getting to our industry-focused and largest conference, APEC-26, in San Antonio. Over the past months, our Society has seen remarkable engagement across all fronts. Our Empower a Billion Lives (EBL) competition final was at the 10th Southern Power Electronics Conference (SPEC-25) in Johannesburg, South Africa, on 25 December. EBL is PELS’ largest humanitarian initiative for Energy Access to all!
