In 2025, the Power Sources Manufacturers Association (PSMA) will mark a significant milestone—its 40th anniversary (Figure 1). Established in 1985, PSMA has been at the forefront of advancing the power sources industry, fostering innovation, promoting education, and facilitating collaboration among professionals. PSMA members transform key technological advancements into reliable, commercially available products in a cost-effective manner, bridging the gap between research, academics, and real-world applications. As we commemorate four decades of dedication and achievement, it is essential to highlight some of the pivotal contributions and initiatives that have solidified PSMA’s reputation as a cornerstone of the industry.
