PELS Day

Celebrate PELS Day with us!

On 20 June 1987, PELS became a full-fledged Society within IEEE. PELS Day honors this event by celebrating every year on 20 June. PELS invites everyone to celebrate by getting together with colleagues for presentations, technical discussions, or simply an evening of networking and socializing.

Look at some of the exciting PELS Day celebrations that happened over the years in the archives below. With the trends towards electrification and renewable energy, there has never been a more exciting time to be a power electronics engineer. If you host a PELS Day event, take a photo of your electrifying experience and submit it to our PELS Day Photo Contest!
